Well, he was a music lover since childhood and loved to do classical music and Shero shayari, besides writing songs in Punjabi and Urdu.
So far Bohemia’s life was going perfectly well, but playing his laugh, life was soon noticed.
His mother died suddenly when he was 15 years old.
After this he went into deep depression and then his relations with his father also started to deteriorate. Later, when matters got worse, he left his home and took to the streets of America.
Where he spent several months living under vehicles and bus stands Bohemia told in an interview that when he left his house he had only 25 cents in his pocket and was suffering from hunger but nothing like that for so little money. So that he could fill his stomach, he bought Chwingam and swallowed it.
Even at that time he did not know English, but after spending many days on the streets, he gradually became friends and then later Bohemia started living with him.
To eat for free and for a little money, he went to the party and started playing his keyboard and also sang songs he had written with his friends.
Gradually, he started becoming famous in his city and then got a job in a good recording studio. Now it seemed that his life is now back on track.
But then his closest friend was killed, which caused a huge shock to Bohemia and he also started living his life fearing fear.
They thought that he too would be killed like his friend, after which he also stopped performing outside and started getting drunk. However he continued to write his lyrics.
He even kept writing the whole time and then a few months later made an album on his Struggling Life. Whose name was “Vich Pardesha de”, the album was launched in 2002 which received a lot of response from the people.
The album made it to the top 10 of BBC Radio UK. He got his real identity in India in 2006. When together with Universal Music, launched the album named “Paisa, Nasha, Pyar”. This was the first Punjabi album to be launched by an international level, just from here Bohimea never looked back.
